Aims and Goals for 2015
I stopped making "New Years Resolutions" a good few years ago, but I still like to start the new year off with some goals. I don't put anything crazy or unrealistic on it (ie; giving up chocolate, getting SUPER healthy) They don't seem attainable to me, and I want something I can really do, so that I don't just give up after a week of not doing it.
I know a lot of people don't make any resolutions, but I highly advise making a list of goals or a "Bucket List" of things to do for the coming year. ( not trying to preach, but it does help, and I can't deny the satisfaction when you cross something off)
With out further ado...
1. Write a bit more...
So, as this is the dreaded year of the Junior Cert (sigh) I probably won't be blogging too much around May/June but hey, may as well try!
2. Do Something great
Well as broad as this is, I'm focusing on doing something really different or "great" with Ossory Youth. By "great" I really want to do some volunteer work, and to help other people or raise money, something like that.
3. Go to a concert
I've know this isn't very interesting, but I really want to go to a concert or festival, I went to Light Colour Sound last summer and I had a blast, so I'd love to go to another festival or concert this year.
4. Take more Pictures
I just love having pictures, they remind me of great times, and fun days, but I never get them developed, which I really should, but one thing at a time.
5. Cut my hair
Don't know when I'll actually get to do this, but I will.
6. Donate clothes I don't need (to charity)
Pretty self-explanatory.
7. Jar of happiness
This sounds really lame when I try to explain it, but I read about this idea online, and I decided to do it because it sounded really good, so basically, whenever something makes you happy (no matter how big or small) you write it down and put it in this jar. (Mine was a gift from a friend so added sentimentality) Anyway, I started it a bit late, but it's almost 1/4 full already, I made a "rule" to write at least 5 things a day, because I guess you should be happy at very least 5 times a day anyway.
So that's it, a very long and boring post. Sorry it's late.
Byee x
